"Hanna Boys Center played an important part in my life when I was young. When no one else believed in me, Hanna did.
People at Hanna cared and showed me there was more to life than what I knew. Even after I messed up no one gave up on me. I remember a time Father Crews was so upset I got into a fight. He punished me himself by having me pull weeds out of the track field. He came out into the field as I was sweating and Father started to help me. As we worked together, he explained to me that I was smarter than what my actions showed. He said people around me cared for me and would always. But, I needed to believe in myself and care about my future as they did. Hanna Boys Center gave me an education and memories I will never forget. Hanna was my foundation to being a better person and this is priceless.
Father Crews and Hanna Boys Center continued to believe in me enough that they gave me a scholarship to help me out. For the help and the love Hanna continues to show I am so thankful. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Words are not enough to describe how grateful I am. I have been a hard head most of my life and learned the hard way.
