As chief financial officer and controller, Monica is responsible the overall financial management of Hanna, including directing an annual operating budget of $13 million; any capital improvement projects; supervising management of Hanna’s endowment; and overseeing technology, banking, insurance, grounds maintenance, food service and human resources.
Monica has previously worked with several Bay Area organizations including Project Open Hand, Marin Country Day School, and the accounting firm of Shea Labagh Dobberstein during which she achieved her CPA designation. Throughout Monica’s professional career, she has volunteered in support of non-profit organizations, including the finance and investment committees of San Domenico School and the Dominican Sisters.
Monica was recognized as one of 2016 North Bay Business Journal’s CFOs of the Year.
Monica is a graduate of the business school at San Francisco State University.
