Nick Dalton is a mixed blood interdisciplinary artist of Creek descent whose cross-sector research, curriculum development, and implementation has explored the intersection of arts as healing, transcultural Social Emotional Learning and decolonizing community development with non-profits Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP), iCreo, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, International Refugee Committee (IRC), Refugee Youth Coalition (RYC), New York Public Schools, Shanti Bhavan School, Teach For India and more. Nick also serves as Artistic Director of the arts and healing non-profit HEART WITHOUT BORDERS.
Nick has an M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts, with a concentration in Indigenous & De-colonial Arts from Goddard College, and a graduate certificate in Restorative Practices from the International Institute for Restorative Practices. Nick spends off hours creating merry making amongst nature alongside a wife partner and their dancing children.
